Healthy Sleeping Habits
Healthy sleeping habits can increase a person's quality of life. It's important to make a sleeping schedule, and try to stick to it. If you do this, your body will begin to get tired around the same time, so it will be easier to fall asleep, and you will begin to wake up around the same time too. Sleeping is very important when it comes to health, along with exercising and good nutrition. Everybody should get around 7-8 hours of sleep each night. Too little or too much over this amount isn't good for you.
More Energy
Many people come up with all kinds of excuses to not exercise, but there is one that tends to be more popular than the others. Many say the reason they don't workout is because they are too tired. These people may not know that exercising actually provides you with more energy. When you first start the workout, you may feel fatigued, but after your workout you will notice a big difference. You will feel more energized, and will typically feel better throughout your day, and will be able to accomplish everyday things easier such as household chores, work tasks, or even walking up stairs.

Healthier Drinking
Drinking healthy is just as important as eating healthy. It's important that you consume at least eight bottles of water per day, in order to stay hydrated and healthy. Most people don't realize how unhealthy drinks can be, such as different types of soda. Most sodas contain around 10 teaspoons of sugar. and the average American drinks around five-hundred sodas per year. If you add this up, it is estimated to be around 52 pounds of sugar. As you can see, different types of soda and other soft drinks contain more sugar than the body should consume, so it's important to go with healthier choices such as water, milk, etc.

Target Heart Rate
When you plan to exercise, you should plan on exercising moderately everyday, or three to five times a week vigorously. One way to determine if you are working out moderately or vigorously is to know and understand your target heart rate. To calculate vigorous Target Heart Rate, you subtract your age from 220, and then multiply it by 0.70, and then subtract your age from 220 again and multiply that by 0.85. The solutions to these will be what your Target Heart Rate for vigorous physical activity should be in between. For moderate physical activity, you would do the same process but you would use 0.50 and 0.70 to multiply the solution that comes after you subtract your age from 220. If you go below your THR, you won't be making any progress, and if you go over, then you could be working yourself too hard.
